Manchester City centre back Toisin Adarabioyo is having a medical ahead of a proposed permanent move to Fulham, according to various reports this evening.
The 23 year-old, 6ft 5 in defender has just eight months left on his current City deal and is one of a number of defenders that Pep Guardiola is keen to move on before the close of the Premier League transfer window tonight. A fee of around £8m has been widely quoted for Adarbioyo, an England youth international, who has made three senior appearances for City.
Adarabioyo has enjoyed loan spells with West Brom, where he made 29 appearances, and at Blackburn Rovers, for whom he made 35 appearances and scored three goals, in recent seasons. He could be one of three defensive arrivals on deadline day for Fulham, with the Whites reportedly close to loan deals for Timo Baumgartl and Joachim Andersen.
Scott Parker is also apparently nearing a loan deal for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
What a signing if we get him!
I know nothing about this guy but if he can’t get into the Man City backline then are we getting premier league quality or are we building for next season already
Young, English, will stay if we go down so that’s all good news….assuming he is actually any good of course!!!!
We still need a centre forward incase Mitrovic is injured so get the Brentford forward we have the money
Young , 6ft 5 , powerful, and former England Youth International . Clearly wants to play first team premiership football and might want to prove himself . Sounds like the type Parker can inspire No idea of his Defensive record at Blackburn and West Brom but sounds good .
C’mon Mark get real……please. You don’t know much about Man City!! the quality at that club, well I wish we got some of their 3rd string that would help keep us in the EPL. Why so many negatives, see it on here and on other forums. There are other CBs coming in, talk of RLC who will give us a real buzz end to end and rumours of another striker.
Not sure if these are panic signings but they must be better than what we have at the club presently. biggest disappointment for me this season is Hector terrific last season awful this. MLM played better than him against Wolves. we do need another target man urgently but none in sight.
So we let Villa and Leeds take all the best available players we could have easily acquired and now we are taking the scraps left on the floor when everyone has eaten. Tony the loser does it again.
He’s a decent player had a great season at Blackburn and highly rated just don’t get a look in at man City… But signings still ain’t done I’m clued to sky sports app still nothing
