Defender Denis Odoi has signed a new two-year contract with Fulham, the club have confirmed this morning.

The Belgian international will remain at Craven Cottage until at least 2022, with the club holding an option to extend that deal by a further year. The 32 year-old, who has twice won promotion from the Championship, has made 134 appearances across five seasons with the Whites, memorably scoring the winner in the 2018 Championship play-off semi-final against Derby County.

Speaking to FFCTV, Odoi said:

I’m happy, as it’s given me this season and next season guaranteed at the club. I’m enjoying my life here, so I’m really happy that I can stay here an extra two years.

Odoi started Fulham’s opening game of the season – a 3-0 defeat by Arsenal on Saturday.
