Marlon’s proposed Fulham move has collapsed after the Brazilian defender failed his medical, according to a report in the Athletic this morning.

Fulham had agreed a £13.75m transfer with Sassuolo for the 25 year-old, who it was hoped would help ease their defensive worries after a shaky start to the season, but the 25 year-old centre back did not pass his Motspur Park medical after travelling to London to complete the deal, despite conflicting reports last week from Italy. The Athletic suggests that Fulham are now attempting to bring in other targets, including Bremer from Torino, Tottenham’s Juan Foyth and the Watford centre back Craig Dawson.
