Fulham are the latest English side to join the race for Torino centre back Gleison Bremer, according to reports from Italy this afternoon.

Sportitalia have suggested that the Whites have made an approach for the Brazilian defender, who has been heavily linked with a move to Everton already this summer. Scott Parker admitted earlier today that the Londoners are looking to bring in centre backs as a priority during his press conference prior to Saturday’s game against Leeds.

The 23 year-old had an impressive second season in Italy, scoring five goals in 35 appearances, as Torino secured Serie A status for another year. He came through the youth ranks at Sao Paulo Desportivo Brasil before joining Atlético Mineiro in March 2017. His dominant displays quickly cemented him as one of the Braseilero’s brightest prospects and he signed for Torino for just over £5m two summers ago. Strong in the air and a good reader of the game, Bremer could have several suitors if – as rumoured – Torino are willing to listen to offers this summer.
