Fulham right back Marlon Fossey has signed for Shrewsbury Town on a season-long loan, the club confirmed this evening.
The American defender heads to Shropshire in search of first-team football after enduring an injury-ravaged couple of years that has hindered his development as one of the most eye-catching members of the Fulham academy. The 21 year-old, who has recently been training with Scott Parker’s senior squad, joins Sam Ricketts’ side, who finished fifteenth in League One last season.
I really hope this guy has a longer term future at Fulham…I have been watching his progress for a few years, but sadly not the last two because of injury. He had to get a loan to improve and see what he can do.
