Galatasaray are eager to extend Jean Michael Seri’s loan from Fulham, according to reports from Turkey.

The Istanbul giants have began to formulate their plans for next season and consider the Ivory Coast midfielder as pivotal to their prospects. Turkish website Fotospor claims that Galatasaray have made Seri their top transfer target after the former Nice midfielder’s fine performances in the engine room have helped them overcome a difficult start to their domestic campaign.

Galatasaray would likely lack the funds to buy Seri outfit and are set to approach Fulham in the next fortnight over the possibility of another season-long loan deal for the man who has largely been sidelined by Scott Parker. Seri has made 29 appearances for Galatasaray this season – scoring a single goal – and the 28 year-old does not look like he has a long-term future at Craven Cottage after a disappointing first season in England.
