Togolese international Floyd Ayite offered electric pace and plenty of creativity when he arrived at Fulham from Bastia at the beginning of July 2016. He quickly became a regular in Slavisa Jokanovic’s side and had a handy habit of popping up with vital goals. His first for the club came in a crazy pre-Christmas 4-4 draw at Wolverhampton – where a brace helped rescue a point from a match the Whites were comfortably winning at one stage.

Comfortable on either flank or even through the middle, Ayite was arguably a victim of his versatility as he became more of an option to use off the bench in the latter years of his Fulham career. He was part of the side that won promotion via the play-offs in 2018 but was scarcely used in the top flight, although he did score having come off the bench against Leicester in April 2019. The likeable wide man is now playing for Valenciennes back in France.
