French winger Anthony Knockaert’s joined Fulham on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion in July 2019 and the move was made permanent in July 2020. His time at Craven Cottage was underwhelming. Despite being part of two promotion-winning signs and displaying brief moments of class, Knockaert rarely replicated the form that made him almost unstoppable in the second tier with Leicester and Brighton, ending up out on loan after making 56 appearances and scoring six goals. He cancelled his contract in September 2023, joining Valenciennes but announced his retirement from the game in July 2024.
