Ryan Sessegnon is prepared to run down his Fulham contract – and talk to Inter Milan in January.

Sessegnon is a target for Tottenham but they have not yet bid for 19-year-old and have opened the door to Antonio Conte at Inter.

The teenager could stay at Craven Cottage next season in the final year of his current deal, then talk to foreign clubs at the start of 2020.

Borussia Dortmund are another foreign club attracted to him costing just £500,000 in training compensation if he moves at the end of his deal.

Spurs have been long-term admirers and are looking at landing him this summer to fight off foreign competition.

He fits comfortably into Spurs’ wage structure but they are concentrating on landing Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele before moving onto other targets.

Mauricio Pochettino’s pulling power is believed to have given the Champions League finalists the edge in the race for Sessegnon, with the Spurs boss having a track record of bringing through young players.

But Inter will have a massive chance of landing him on the cheap if no deal is agreed in the current window.

Losing Sessegnon on a free would represent a huge blow to Fulham who set his asking price as high as £50million just last summer.

The England U-21 starlet failed to hit the heights many expected as the Cottagers were relegated from the Premier League.

And boss Scott Parker may choose to cash in on the left-sided ace for around half that sum now rather than risk taking an even bigger hit next year.
