Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to revive interest in Ryan Sessegnon in a cut-price summer deal.

Poch first looked at the Fulham teenager when he broke into the first team three seasons ago.

But Sessegnon, 18, has just one season left on his contract and is likely to attract bids starting at £25million when Fulham’s return to the Championship is confirmed.

The winger, who can also play left-back, was on the bench for England Under-21s against Poland last night and is one of only a few home-grown talents playing regular Premier League football.

He would fit easily into Spurs’ wage structure and bolster Pochettino’s squad heading into a new era at the club’s new stadium.

Sessegnon’s versatility means he is likely to get games at Spurs, who failed to sign any players during the last two transfer windows.

He has played 28 Premier League games in his first season in the top flight and will not turn 19 until after the last game of the season.
