Fulham have turned down a £50million offer for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic from an unnamed Chinese club.

The Cottagers are desperate to hang on to their top scorer as they try to escape the threat of relegation.

But it’s believed Mitrovic could be tempted to leave by the big money on offer in another wave of significant moves in the transfer market by Chinese clubs.

Serbia international Mitrovic, however, is only 24.

So the mystery club would have to offer even more than £50m before Fulham would even consider selling the striker, who has scored eight of their 19 Premier League goals so far this season.
