Jean-Michael Seri has become the first Fulham player to win the Premier League’s goal of the month competition after his sensational strike against Burnley in August.
The Ivorian midfielder’s first shot on target set up the Whites’ first Premier League win of the season and his brilliant individual effort from distance beat off the competition to win the top flight’s August accolade. Seri, a surprise summer capture having previously been linked with the likes of Barcelona, also set up Fulham’s opener at Brighton earlier this month.
