Scott Parker has returned to Fulham as a member of Slavisa Jokanovic’s coaching staff, the club confirmed this morning.

The former Fulham captain takes up a position as a first-team coach at Craven Cottage just a year after ending his playing career and leaving the Whites to join Tottenham as their under-18 coach. Parker, who made 128 appearances in three years at Fulham, was considered one of the FA’s most promising coaches during his UEFA licence studies and is delighted with his new appointment.

I’m delighted to join the club this week and look forward to working with SlaviĊĦa once again, as well as with the rest of the coaching staff and players. I have first-hand knowledge of the quality and ambition at the club since I was a player here, with tremendous work carried out by staff within the first team set up and across all Academy age groups. I’m looking forward to getting started right away in preparation for the Premier League campaign.
