Fulham are interested in signing Lille right back Kevin Malcuit, according to a report from France Football.

The Whites may face competition from Premier League rivals West Ham, who have also been tracking the 26 year-old. Neither English club has tabled a firm offer, according to reports from France, but Lille are expecting their interest to continue until the end of the transfer window. The French club have already turned down loan offers from Inter Milan and Celta Vigo, with their stated preference being a permanent transfer. It is believed that both Valencia and Napoli are also interested in signing Malcuit but a bid from either club has yet to materialise.

Aside from Irish international Cyrus Christie, Fulham are light on options at right back after Ryan Fredericks joined West Ham on a free transfer this summer. Malcuit, who has been converted into a full back after playing most of his junior football as an attacker, has made more than 150 appearances in French football and still has just under four years to go on his current contract at Lille.
