Brazilian midfielder Lucas Piazon quickly become a firm favourite amongst the Fulham fans for his work ethic and end product, as well as an endearing habit of socialising with the supporters on away trips. He had two loan spells from Chelsea, which culminated in the 2018 Championship play-off final success, and was disappointed not to be able to make the switch across Fulham on a permanent basis following winning promotion.

Piazon scored on his debut in the League Cup against Bristol City and finished with a creditable record of twelve goals in 58 appearances. That was all the more impressive because he was often used in a number of different positions and off the bench late in games, as well as having to fight his way back to full fitness having broken both his ankle and leg due to a determination to win the ball back. He is now playing back in his native Brazil for Botafogo.
