Irish left back Sean Kavanagh emerged from the club’s academy system to make 27 first-team appearances for Fulham between 2014 and 2017. He made his debut against Wolves in August 2014 and became a regular under Kit Symons, who had previously coached him at under 21 level. Kavanagh scored a stunning winner against Norwich City in October 2014 – his only senior goal for Fulham – but faded out of the first team picture following Symons’ sacking. He headed back to his native Ireland to sign for Shamrock Rovers in February 2018.
