Slavisa Jokanovic has urged his Fulham players to take the belief they displayed in the Boxing Day win at Cardiff City into Saturday’s trip to Hull City.

The Whites became the first side to win at the Cardiff City Stadium with a dominant 4-2 victory over Neil Warnock’s side on Tuesday and Jokanovic wants his side to develop greater levels of consistency as they bid to mount another push for the play-off places. The Serbian told his press match press conference this afternoon:

We showed against Cardiff that we can beat all the teams at this level. We want to control, dominate and be more clinical in the box. It’s important to trust in ourselves and go into this game with confidence.

Jokanovic reiterated that, just like before the game at Cardiff, his side’s only objective was to gain another victory – this time at the KCOM Stadium. The Fulham boss, who confirmed that all members of his first-team squad were available for the trip to Hull, revealed that the character displayed in the Boxing Day clash in south Wales was hugely pleasing.

We will do everything to push for three points. Now we have positive momentum, we believe we can beat all the teams in the Championship. For many months, we’ve built up an identity and we showed it in our last game. It’s important to never give up.

All the games can be complicated in this competition. Hull will be organised, solid and will try to catch us in the offensive transition. My only target today is to win the next game against Hull.
