Fulham have turned down an offer from Gent for defender Denis Odoi, according to reports from Sky.
Ghent are eager to sign the 29 year-old and have opened discussions with Fulham over a possible transfer. Belgian newspaper HLN claims that Odoi has successfully passed a medical in Belgium and will sign a four-year deal with Ghent. Sky suggests that whilst Odoi is in Belgium at present this is a holiday in his homeland approved by Fulham following the end of their season.
The versatile defender made a strong impression in his first season at Craven Cottage, making 33 appearances as Slavisa Jokanovic’s side reached the Championship play-off semi-finals.
