Lucas Piazon is poised to extend his loan spell at Fulham from Chelsea until the end of the season in the next few days.
The Brazilian forward has quickly become a popular figure at Craven Cottage and head coach Slavisa Jokanovic has recently lauded his performances in the press. Piazon’s importance to Fulham’s potential promotion push has only been strengthened by Chris Martin’s decision to strike and try force through a return to January.
Piazon, 22, has made sixteen appearances for Fulham scoring four times. The skilful forward’s most recent strike came in the 2-1 defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion on Bank Holiday Monday.
