Celta Vigo have taken Spanish midfielder Jozabed on loan from Fulham until the end of the season – thereby ending the playmaker’s unhappy spell in west London.

The 25 year-old only joined Fulham in August but had struggled to settle in the capital following his move from relegated Rayo Vallecano. Jozabed had struggled for form and fitness – making only eight first-team appearances for the Whites and most recently being used as part of the club’s under-23 side. The midfielder’s last senior outing was in the 2-1 derby defeat by QPR at Craven Cottage.

Celta announced the deal in an official statement that also revealed that they will have the option to make Jozabed’s loan move permanent in the summer.
