Slavisa Jokanovic was pleased with the football on display in Fulham’s 2-1 Emirates FA Cup victory over Cardiff City.
The Whites dominated their hosts from start to finish and perhaps should have won by a greater margin, but Jokanovic was just pleased to secure safe passage to Round Four.
“We tried to play with our style,” he explained. “We moved the ball from one side to the other. We played with patience and created many things. We scored two goals but I believe we created enough to score the third goal to finish the game a bit easier, but in the end it’s important for us to pass this round and be ready for everything that’s in front of us.
“Before this game I explained I was going to use my best team. Some people are injured, some people are at the Africa Cup of Nations, some people are sick. I expect we can be stronger for the next Championship game.”
