Shrewsbury Town are believed to be closing in on the loan signing of 19-year-old Fulham striker Stephen Humphrys.
Paul Hirst is nearing his sixth January signing with the young Fulham forward having watched yesterday’s 1-0 win over Oldham. The tall forward began his career at Bury and remains highly rated at Craven Cottage, having starred for Fulham’s youth team sides and scored regularly for the first team during pre-season.
