As the clock ticks down to Christmas, we wanted to wish all our readers and every Fulham fan a very happy Christmas. When Nick and I started this website what seems decades ago now, it was intended to offer some commentary and a fans’ perspective on matters at Craven Cottage that people wouldn’t get elsewhere. It has grown beyond our wildest dreams and made us many new friends and colleagues as well as providing a path into professional journalism for many of our contributors.

It might be a labour of love to compile the latest match reports or think up a new angle on the game we’ve all watched or the transfer rumour everybody is talking about, but the responsibility of keeping our readers well informed about our beloved club is one I take very seriously. Thank you to everybody for reading, commenting asking questions and continuing the conversation on Facebook and Twitter. It’s a massive pleasure to write for such a well-informed audience – and we hope to keep HammyEnd.com going for many years to come.

If you are anything like me, then your friends, family and loved ones might have all suffered due to your love for Fulham this year. I wish you all the most relaxing and merry of Christmases and a wonderful New Year. Let’s hope Slavisa Jokanovic’s boys can keep climbing the Championship table and give us plenty more to smile about in 2017.
