Fulham have tonight confirmed the arrival of Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen on a three-year contract.

The Norwegian midfielder is believed to have cost around £2m after turning down a new deal in Glasgow and not being part of new Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers’ future plans. The 25 year-old will be looking to reignite his career after a difficult second season with the Scottish giants and has been a long-term target for Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic, with the London club heavily linked with a move over the course of the summer.

Johansen, who has won 29 caps for his country, scored 20 goals in 114 appearances for Celtic having shot to prominence with Stromsodget, whom he helped win the title in 2013. Fulham have the option of extending Johansen’s contract at Craven Cottage by an additional year should they wish to.
