Nigerian striker Sone Aluko is excited to have joined Championship side Fulham following the expiration of his contract at Hull City.

The 27-year-old attacker joins Fulham on a two-year deal, with an option for an additional 12 months and Aluko, who came through the Birmingham City academy set up, is excited to be moving to London.

Aluko previously played for Aberdeen and Rangers, where he scored twelve times in 21 league appearances. He moved to Hull City in 2012 and scored eight goals in 23 games as the Tigers won promotion to the top flight. Aluko helped Hull back to the Premier League again last season – but has opted to join Slavisa Jokanovic’s side with his first team opportunities after being released.

A former England youth international, Aluko who has represented Nigeria on seven occasions and has scored twice will now join up with the rest of the group in Cork as preparations continue for the new season.
