Wolves have signed goalkeeper Andy Lonergan from Fulham on a two-year contract.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed but Wolves also have the option of a further year.

Lonergan will compete with Carl Ikeme and Jon Flatt for a starting spot at Molineux next season.

The 32-year-old joined Fulham last summer and made 31 appearances for the Sky Bet Championship club last season.

Lonergan has made a total of 368 career appearances and has had spells at Leeds and Bolton after establishing himself at Preston during an 11-year stint.

Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett said: “I am very pleased to add a player of Andy’s experience to the goalkeeping department.

“His arrival will complement Carl Ikeme and Jon Flatt in the upcoming season.”
