Luke Garbutt has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a heartfelt farewell message to Fulham.

The 22-year-old left-back joined Championship outfit Fulham on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Everton in the summer of 2015.

Now that the season is over for the Cottagers. the former England Under-21 international is returning to his parent club.

Garbutt, a former Leeds United prospect, has taken to Twitter to wish Fulham the best of luck.

The youngster has also praised the players and the management for making sure that the London outfit retain their Championship status for next season.

Garbutt scored one goal and created 14 chances in 25 Championship appearances for Fulham this season.
