Fulham have submitted a £1.5 million bid for Blackburn Rovers centre back Grant Hanley, according to a wide variety of reports.

The West London side are looking to tighten up their defence who leaked 79 goals in the 2015/2016 campaign – the third highest in the league.

The Cottagers have accelerated their pursuit for the Scottish international by offering £1.5 million to Rovers.

The Rovers captain has spent eight years at Ewood Park and is attracting attention from Derby County and Rangers.

Hanley is one of Blackburn’s prized assets making over 200 appearances for the club including 46 appearances this season.

The 24 year olds fine performances were certainly not overlooked, as he was rewarded the club’s player of the year.

Blackburn will be looking to keep hold of their star player, who has been valued at around £2.5 million by the club.
