Fulham have announced that defender Kay Voser has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

The 29-year-old, who joined the Cottagers in 2014 following their relegation from the Premier League, featured regularly at the start of the 2015-16 campaign, but has played just once since the departure of former manager Kit Symons in November.

With first-team chances limited at Craven Cottage, Voser has been playing for the club’s Under-21 side in recent weeks.

The former Switzerland Under-21 international was due to be a free agent in the summer, having penned a two-year deal when he signed from Grasshoppers.

Fulham, who recently appointed Slavisa Jokanovic as Symons’s successor, have won just once in their last 15 league outings, leaving the side 19th in the Championship table.
