Slavisa Jokanovic is keen for Fulham to build on the point at Huddersfield Town with a victory at the weekend over high-flying Hull City.

“I want my first three points,” the Serbian said in his pre-match press conference. “I’m fighting to win the games. Generally I cannot be especially happy with our results. Yes, I believe we improved our game, but it’s actually, at the moment, not enough to win the game. The next target is to win, and our next chance is tomorrow afternoon.”

The Tigers arrive in good form having won their last four matches – most recently when they defeated Charlton Athletic 6-0 – and Jokanovic knows to expect a stern test against the division’s top scorers.

“They are second in the table, they are a strong and very competitive team,” he stated. “They’ve won their last four games in a row. They are a dangerous team for us. I know everything that I need to know. Generally I try and explain to my team what we’re going to find tomorrow in the game and try and find a solution to reach our target and win it.

“It’s a very strong team. They are very dangerous from wide positions, they attack very well. They make a great press, and generally they are a quality side. And this is what actually right now the table shows us. We need to be brave and try and be organised with what we want to do on the field.”
