Fulham senior coach Stuart Gray believes Ipswich Town will provide his side with a different test tonight as the Whites look to build on their entertaining 2-2 draw with Brentford.
The Tractor Boys, under Mick McCarthy, are a more direct and physical side than the Bees, who prefer to play rapid, passing football.
And Gray’s mind switched from dealing with Dean Smith’s team to taking on Ipswich at Craven Cottage.
He said: “I think it’ll be a different type of game. I think Mick has a team where he plays to his strengths. They’ll maybe hit the forwards a little bit earlier.
“I said to the players well done after Brentford but we’ll focus on Ipswich now.”
He added: “We’re getting towards the business end where we need to put points on in threes.
It’s close in the Championship and I was pleased with the response I got from the players when we got 1-0 down.”
