Fulham have announced that Marek Rodak has signed a new contract with the Championship club.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the English outfit from MFK Kosice two years ago, has committed himself to Craven Cottage until 2018.

“I’m really happy to get it done. Now I’ve just got to keep working and hopefully I’ll get my chance in the first team,” he said. “Being involved with the matchday squad is good experience at my age, especially as a goalkeeper. Now I’m just waiting for my chance and hopefully I’ll get it as soon as possible to show what I can do.”

Rodak is yet to make a senior appearance for the West Londoners, although he has been on the bench four times.
