Tim Hoogland spent a single season at Fulham having signed on a free transfer as part of Felix Magath’s ill-fated reshaping of the senior squad after relegation. The German defender scored on his debut at Ipswich Town and displayed his versatility by playing in several positions as the Whites just about escaped a second successive demotion. Hoogland scored four times in 28 appearances before moving to Bochum in July 2015.
