Fulham will fight to hold onto talented teenager Patrick Roberts with Manchester City rumoured to be preparing a bid for the young winger.

City are reportedly readying a £10m offer for the England youth international but Fulham have not had any contact regarding Roberts, who has a year to run on his current Craven Cottage contract, and preparing to offer him a new deal. Roberts shone in the recent under-19 European Championships scoring five goals in the tournament and adding five assists, which added to his burgeoning reputation following his first Championship season.

The youngster, who has handed a senior debut against City by Felix Magath in 2014, made twenty appearances with Kit Symons admitting that he was managing his exposure to the rough and tumble of the Championship by mostly using him off the bench.
