Fulham have added Ryan Tunnicliffe and Alex Kacaniklic to the squad to face Cardiff on Saturday – but have ruled out Lasse Christensen.

Boss Kit Symons returns to the country he represented 36 times and a city he knows well, happy to have the two loanees back, but ruing the decision to play Christensen against Wolves in the FA Cup last weekend.

Even so, Kacaniklic is a way off match fitness according to Symons.

“Ryan’s come back from playing regularly for Blackburn,” the manager said.

“Alex is slightly different. He hasn’t started a game for six-and-a-half weeks, because FC Copenhagen’s season breaks early. So they’re at different levels physically, but both looking good and both available.”

However, Christensen will miss both this one and the FA Cup replay on Tuesday after aggravating an earlier injury.

Symons explianed: “It’s a grade one hamstring tear, and is less serious, but I’m still kicking myself for playing him against Wolves.”

The manager is hoping to catch a Bluebirds out of sorts, even if the visit brings back memories.

“My nanna used to live a stone’s throw from Ninian Park on Sudcroft Street, so Cardiff holds special memories for me,” he added.
