Fulham boss Kit Symons reckons his side need to attack from the start if they are to upset league leaders Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

The Cherries have scored 11 in their last two outings, but Symons refuses to park a defensive bus as he also hopes to build on a return to form.

Fulham beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 on Saturday, and the manager insists he can make it three wins on the bounce if his players say no to second helpings of Christmas pud the day before.

“We’ve got to be on top of our game,” he said. “Bournemouth have scored 50 goals already and we have to be tight. But I’m not one for parking the bus, and we need to be positive.

“I’m not worried about facing a side in form. In fact, I’m really excited and I fancy we can beat anyone on our day.”
