Fulham boss Kit Symons wants to add to his squad in the January transfer window.

Symons swooped to sign Manchester City youngster Seko Fofana on loan last month, but failed in his bid to bring Chris Baird back to Craven Cottage.

However, he is hopeful of boosting his options in the new year, providing the price is right.

He said: “We’re looking. The January window is notoriously tricky, but if the right player at the right price is available then great.

“However, quite often it can be a bit of a panic market and I certainly don’t want to go down that road at all.

“It’s Mr Khan’s money but I will spend it as if it was my own. You want value for money and to enhance the squad with people that are going to add value at the right price.”
