Fulham goalkeeper Jesse Joronen signs on a month-long loan at Accrington Stanley

The Finland international has made four appearances for Fulham this season after previous loan spells with Cambridge and Maidenhead.

Joronen, 21, competes for a first-team place at Craven Cottage against former Stanley loanee Marcus Bettinelli.

He has been signed to replace Aaron Chapman, who has returned to parent club Chesterfield with a foot injury, and will take the number 30 shirt.

“We were disappointed to lose Aaron to injury, but Jesse comes in with a great reputation and is a good addition,” said Stanley boss John Coleman.

“He’s played in the Championship this season and that experience could prove invaluable to him at League Two level.”
