Fulham have been drawn away against Bentford in the Capital One Cup second round setting up an interesting west London derby.

The sides haven’t met in a competitive fixture since 1998 when the Cottagers ran out 2-0 winners at Griffin Park in a Division Two fixture.

However, they will lock horns again later this month when Felix Magath’s men make the short trip down the A4.

Brentford booked their place in round two after a 12-goal thriller with Dagenham on Tuesday ended in a dramatic 4-2 penalty shoot-out victory.

Fulham were one of the seeded sides in the draw and handed a first round bye.
