Stephen McManus insists Shaun Hutchinson will be a smash hit with Fulham – because he is driven by a real hunger to succeed.
Hutchinson clinched a move to Felix Magath’s Championship outfit last month and McManus reckons every aspiring talent at Fir Park should take a leaf out of the Englishman’s book. The 31–year–old defender said: “Sometimes you get youngsters who come in and they have the newest cars, the newest watches and the newest clothes.
“But to be successful they need to be dedicated, work hard and make sacrifices to reach the top of their profession. Hutchy was one of them.
“He looked up to players and wanted to work as hard as they did to have a successful career.
“I have no doubt he will be successful down south. The one thing that will never leave him – the hunger to better himself.”
