Galatasaray are interested in Fulham striker Kostas Mitroglou, according to reports from Turkey, as they look to replace Didier Drogba.

The Turkish giants are believed to be ready to pay up to £11million for the Greek frontman who was a complete flop at Craven Cottage following his club record £12million capture from Olympiakos.

Mitroglou endured a nightmare five months in London as injuries restricted him to just three appearances as the Whites dropped out of the Premier League.

Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old striker but he is refusing to discuss his plans as he now has his mind focused on the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.

Galatasaray are on the lookout for a powerful striker to replace Drogba who is leaving Istanbul after two seasons with the club.
