Fulham midfielder Hugo Rodallega seemed inconsolable after being substituted during Fulham’s FA Cup fourth round replay defeat to Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

After his substitution on the hour mark, Rodallega sulked towards the bench before sitting down and covering his head with a coat for several minutes.

The Columbian forward had been having a poor game and his removal was roundly cheered by Fulham fans at Craven Cottage which wouldn’t have helped his mood.

Fulham’s Ashkan Dejagah replaced the Colombian to the delight of the Craven Cottage crowd, but the substitute couldn’t help his team prevent the replay going into extra-time.

The home side were then knocked out of the FA Cup with seconds of extra-time remaining as the Blades found a late winner via the head of Shaun Miller.

Rodallega has made just a handful of starts for Fulham this season, scoring three goals since joining from Wigan last summer.
