Fulham winger Alex Kacaniklic believes Felix Magath is a shrewd appointment by Fulham and will guide them to Premier League survival.
The Cottagers have made their second managerial change of the season after being unable to halt an alarming slump.
They remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table, four points adrift of safety.
Magath, a man renowned for his no-nonsense approach, has been drafted in to try and oversee a reversal in fortune, and Swedish winger Kacaniklic is convinced that the German tactician has enough quality at his disposal to steer a course away from danger.
He told Expressen on the changes at Craven Cottage: “It has been really good so far and I like his training sessions.
“There has been a good pace in training and you can see that we have got a new boost.
“I have got a positive impression of him. His ideas about football appeal to me.
“Everyone now has to fight and give everything all the time, as we are the ones that have been dragged into this position.
“Nobody would have believed that we would end up in trouble before the season, but we are there now.
“All of the players are determined to fight to keep us up and I am convinced we will manage to do that.
“I am working hard all the time and I hope and believe that we will get results. It is up to the coach now to select the team and I will just continue to work hard.”
