Fulham striker Bryan Ruiz is expected to undergo a medical at Real Betis on Thursday, ahead of completing a loan move from Fulham and could go straight into the team against Osasuna in La Liga on Sunday.

The 28-year-old originally joined Fulham for a fee thought to be in excess of ?10 million, following two excellent seasons in Holland with FC Twente, but has failed to shine as much as hoped in the English Premier League, with just one goal in twelve outings this season, his third with the London club.
Due to arrive at Real Betis for a medical on Thursday, reports from the Andaluz capital are suggesting that save for a few fine points of the deal, yet to be resolved, the deal should be concluded and made official within the next twenty-four hours.
