Fulham midfielder Alexander Kacaniklic has signed a one-year contract extension.

Kacaniklic, 22, was out of contract in the summer, but the London club have decided to retain the player for another year.

The Sweden international joined Fulham from Liverpool in 2010 as part of the deal that saw Paul Konchesky move to Anfield.

He has made 36 appearences for Fulham, scoring five goals, the last of which came in the 3-1 home defeat by Manchester United in November.
