Fulham have made a second bid for Swansea left-back Neil Taylor according to Sky sources.
The 24-year-old was the subject of an unsuccessful bid from the west London club earlier this month – reportedly in the region of £4m.
Fulham are now believed to have returned to Swansea with an improved offer for the Wales international.
Taylor, who represented Team GB during the London 2012 Olympics, was not present at Swansea’s training ground on Friday on account of his wife going into labour.
Swansea first-team coach Alan Curtis refused to be drawn on Taylor’s future, but insisted everyone at the club has been delighted by his contribution since joining the club as a 21-year-old.
“He’s been top-class since arriving from Wrexham a couple of years ago,” Curtis told Sky Sports News.
“Unfortunately, he suffered quite a major injury last year and the form of Ben Davies has kept him out of the team since then but Neil has been excellent.
“He’s played his part this year as well obviously with the number of games we’ve had in the league, the Europa Cup and the other cup games.
