Fulham are not interested in signing Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott, according to Sky Sports.

The England international has been linked with a move to a number of clubs, including West Ham and Besiktas. Fulham were also rumoured to be keen on signing the 31 year-old centre back to bolster their back line ahead of the relegation run in but club officials strongly denied that.

For his part, City boss Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that Lescott, whose contract at Eastlands expires at the end of the season, is going nowhere. “He is not going for the moment. Joleon Lescott is a very important player for us. He finishes his contract in June. We will see what happens in the future.”
