Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov has completed his move to big-spending Monaco.

The former Manchester United and Tottenham forward has joined Monaco as cover for the injured Radamel Falcao.

Falcao’s injury doubled with Lacina Traore joining Everton on loan left the French club short up top.

And with Kostas Mitroglou in the bag at around £11m, Rene Meulensteen was happy to let the Bulgarian go.

Monaco left it late but were able to tie up the deal before the French window closed.
