Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell’s talks over a new Fulham deal have stalled.

The former Reading and Chelsea midfielder has started every Premier League game this season, scoring two goals.

However, the 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the campaign and is yet to agree fresh terms.

Sidwell recently rejected the club’s offer of a 12-month extension and is holding out for a two-year deal instead, but negotiations have hit the skids.

The 30-year-old has featured 84 times for the Cottagers since his move from Aston Villa in 2011, scoring 11 times.
