Fulham have been handed a massive boost after keeper Maarten Stekelenburg was given the green light to return to action.

The Dutchman hasn’t featured since suffering a shoulder injury on his debut against Sunderland on the opening day of the season.

Stekelenburg aggravated the problem in training, which led to a further spell on the sidelines.

But the summer signing from Roma is back in the fold and in line to return to the side for Monday night’s London derby with Crystal Palace.
